Spiral cables meet the highest mechanical stresses. Due to their unique shape, they are the only ones capable of withstanding 3-fold loads – elongation, bending and torsion. Thus, they are true masters in their profession, where energy and/or data are required in rapidly changing positions in three-dimensional space. With this high degree of flexibility, spiral cables effortlessly cope with unusual movement sequences – such as in handling or in medical technology.

Spiralized cables are a complex construct. This makes the combination of insulation material and cable construction all the more important. This determines the service life and quality of the spiral cable.

Spiral cables also differ in their smallest possible spiral diameters. During manufacture, the aim is to coil the cable as small as possible in order to achieve the best possible restoring forces. Thus, through constructive finesse and precision work, up to 5 times the block length can be achieved during extraction.
